# Technology Behind ZebSwap

Uniswap is built on the Ethereum blockchain (and also can be deployed on other chains like Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon and MarsChain). It allows users to **swap tokens** using **smart contracts** without a centralized middleman.

1. **Ethereum & EVM Chains**

* ZebSwap is a set of smart contracts written in Solidity, running on Ethereum and compatible chains (EVM-based).\ <br>

2. **Automated Market Maker (AMM)**

* Uniswap uses an AMM model instead of traditional order books.
* The Formula: x⋅y=k
* This ensures liquidity is always available — as token A (x) decreases, token B (y) increases, keeping product k constant.\ <br>

3. **Liquidity Pools**

* Users provide equal values of two tokens to a pool (e.g., ETH + USDC) and earn fees from swaps.\ <br>

4. **MarsC Governance Token**

* Allows the community to vote on protocol upgrades, fee structure, and development direction.\ <br>

5. **Smart Contracts Handle:**

* Token Swaps
* Liquidity Management
* Fee Distribution
* Governance Proposals\ <br>

6. **Front-End (Interface)**

* The web app interacts with smart contracts using web3.js or ethers.js via browser wallets like MetaMask.

<br>

7. **Oracles & Analytics**

* ZebSwap v1, V2 & v3 integrates Time-Weighted Average Prices (TWAPs), and can use external oracles (like Chainlink) for deeper DeFi interactions.
